What is Mount Noire?

Mount Noire is travel community founded in December 2019 by 5 black British females. Our mission is to bring colour to the mountains. We seek to increase diversity and representation in winter sports. Ultimately we share our love for skiing & snowboarding and curate unforgettable, social & fuss-free experiences.We host regular ski & snowboarding trips and events.

Can I come if I’m not of black descent?

Yes. We are all about promoting diversity and inclusivity on the slopes, so everyone is welcome. We encourage black, asian and ethnic minorities to ski, snowboard and enjoy the mountains more. We recognise there is a lack of diversity and lack of representation in the ski industry.

Traveling solo?

No problem. We have a number of solo travelers who have joined our trips. We strive to make everyone feel welcome.

All our rooms are twin bed and shared occupancy. If you would not like to share a room please let us know however this will incur additional costs

Can I come if I have never tried skiing/ snowboarding before?

Absolutely yes. We do recommend having at least 1-2 sessions on a dry or indoor slope so you are familiar with the equipment and basics. However if you do not have the chance to do this, our trips have a ski lesson included.

What is the age range on your trips?

We would love to expand our trips to families and young people however at present, this is an adult only (18+) trip. Age range 23-50 on our previous trips.

How to book?

All bookings are via our website. You can book with a £200 deposit and spread the rest of the payment over a few months

Can you share the location of the accommodation?

No, we do not share our exact location until you are a guest for safety reasons. We try to describe the hotel/chalet amenities as best as possible.

Can you arrange a seperate transfer as my flight does not arrive in time?

Where possible we will assist with arranging this for you, this may incur additional costs however we do our best to accommodate your request.

Is everyone from the UK?

No, we do have guests who come from the US and around Europe. Our team is based in London.

Are your trips just for ladies?

No. Everyone is welcome. Our team is all female and we use a lot of our own imagery on our website and social media.

Do you have any trips planned in the USA?

We’re coming over soon! We currently only offer trips in Europe, but in 2025 we aim to expand our ski trip locations
